Key Holder Services
Regular clients may benefit from our key holder service. Keys are kept locked away, and are coded so that the name and address do not appear on the fob. This would suit people who travel often, might be kept late at work or for that unexpected trip away.
A written report is provided after all home visits.
Home from home for dogs
We are pleased to offer a home boarding service as an alternative to putting your dog into kennels. Your dog will live with us in our house as part of the family. We have a roomy house with a large, securely fenced garden. Your dog will be walked regularly and given lots of fuss and attention. We can also offer basic grooming services to dogs that stay with us.
We can provide food if required (at an additional cost), but encourage you to supply the dog's normal diet. Please also feel free to bring their favourite blanket and toys and anything else that willl make them feel at home.
We normally only board dogs from one family at a time; or from two families if both guests are already clients and well known to us. We will not board your dog with a third party.
Cat Boarding
Whilst cats are usually happiest in their own environment, home boarding can be arranged when this is not possible or appropriate. Please ask for more information.
Doggy daycare
Daycare is an alternative to our dog walking service, and is suitable for dogs who do not like to be left alone for long periods. Your dog can be dropped off with us or collected for a small charge, and will enjoy a fun and active day. They will be treated as part of the family, and the day will include at least one long walk.
Small animal boarding
We love small animals, and can offer home boarding for indoor and outdoor pets. Hutches with runs are available for rabbits and guinea pigs, smaller indoor animals will come with their own cages or tanks. All hutches and equipment are cleaned and sterilised between guests.
Horse, pony and donkey care
As a horse owner for many years, Clare is happy to look after up to 4 horses, ponies or donkeys at one property. Services offered include turning out, bringing in, picking out hooves, rug changing, mucking out, feeding and watering and exercising.
House and pet sitting
House sitting is a very cost effective alternative to kennels and catteries for families that have a number of pets, and it is a proven deterrent against domestic theft when homes would otherwise be vacant during holiday time.
Our fees include walks, feeding, cleaning out and fussing your pets; and there are no registration or sitter's food charges. We stick to your normal routine as far as possible to create the minimum disruption for your pets. We will also endeavour to ensure that your house is occupied between 7.30 pm and 7.30 am as well as at periods during the day.
Other home visit services can also be carried out by arrangement.
House sitting services are also available to people without pets, please ask for details.

Older dogs or puppies can be given slower, sniffy walks in their locality, giving them the opportunity to stretch their legs and check out who's around.
Dogs will be walked in all weathers, so if wet they will be left towel-dried and warm.
We do not collect a number of dogs together for big group walks; instead we prefer to provide the highest quality of service to one or two clients at a time.

As well as feeding and watering your pet we will let them out for a toilet break if they are kept indoors, or clean out the litter tray or bedding in a hutch.

Shopping service - we can restock your pantry with essentials or luxuries for you or your pets, ready for your return home. Leave us a list or email us before you return and we will purchase any items you need.
Meal service - come home from a holiday, business trip or hospital-stay to a prepared meal.
Garden/house plant care - we can undertake watering, weeding or other light garden duties.
PA services
This may sound very 'American' but we are getting more enquiries about this type of service as it can be really useful to have someone available to organise all those things you never have time to do yourself. So let us make an appointment for your plumber to mend that dripping tap while you are on holiday or at work, and your pet will get all that extra attention while we wait in for them. Or we can check your mail while you are away for anything urgent that might need your attention. Perhaps you have a room that needs decluttering, or a huge pile of paperwork that needs filing. We can do all that for you, and provide company for your pet at the same time.

We can pick up your pet from your home or workplace and take them to their vet or grooming appointment, wait with them and then return them safely with any instructions.
